Green Cake For a St. Patrick's Birthday

Finally I can put this up without worrying about my mother-in law.

For my mother-in laws birthday I made her a cake. A green cake with irish cream butter cream filling. Yum Yum. Now I was afraid that I put too much of the irish cream into the cake but it actually came out pretty good. Every cake is a work in progress though but I'm glad she enjoyed it. Here are some of the pics of the cake.

Happy St. Patrick's Birthday!!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day. May your beer be green and your shamrocks 4 leafed.

I would also like to say Happy Birthday to an amazing mother-in law, grandmother and a lymphoma survivor (whose cancer ribbon just happens to be green).

Barbra Stroup.

Today is your day to shine. Not like you don't any other day. We, your freinds and family, love you dearly. Happy Birthday to you.

Thanks To You For Giving Girl's Night Out 2011

I figured I share the photos I took from the first Girl's Night Out presented by Thank to You For Giving. This Night was a special event for the ladies to relax and enjoy presentations from The Pampered Chef, At Home America, and Traveling Vineyard, along with massages from licensed massage therapist. Lots of fun and great food (including my cake and cheesecake balls).

Cheesecake and Cake Balls

Yes finally what we all have been waiting for. The end resolute. Unfortunately I forgot my camera for the making of these treats. Sorry. But here are what theses cakes look like.

One Cake A Day For Three Days: Part 1

So today begins my one cake a day fun. What this means is that for three days I'm going to me making three different cakes all for the sake of charity. I originally was going to make cake pops but decided to just make them into balls. Same concept as the pops just without the lollipop stick. Yummy!

So today's cake is a Moist Yellow Cake courtesy of Bakerella.com.
